1. No email account
Email authentication verifies who can access host’s Google sheets.
SPCsoft does not store user accounts or passwords. Instead, it uses Sign in with Google for authentication. Users can create a free Google account using any email address, even if it's not from Google. This account lets them sign in to all Google apps.
If the host allows it, the sign-in page also lets users enter any email that they can receive a magic link—a secure, password-free way to access the web app.
2. ⚠️ Oops! We couldn’t verify your access
The add-on did not receive any email authentication. If your link does not start with https://spcsoft.page.dev/, please click the link displayed to sign in.
If it does, the issue is likely with your browser not sending the authentication correctly. Try the following:
- Hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows, Cmd+Shift+R on Mac)
- Clear your browser cache to load the latest sign-in page
- Use Chrome for best compatibility
To help us support your browser, please email the following basic information to spcsoft.solutions@gmail.com for support:
- Do you see any Google sign-in?
- What device and browser are you using?
3. Sorry, unable to open the file at this time
This issue occurs when user has logged in multiple accounts and is using the Google web app URL directly from Google Sheet which is hosted on "https://script.google.com".
Please share the URL from the link given in the add-on button custom menu > Set up web app, which is hosted on "https://spcsoft.pages.dev", to access your Google web app.
