1. No email account
Email authenticates who has updated the host's Google Sheet.
SPCsoft does not store user accounts nor passwords. Instead, SPCsoft uses the secured Google account for user authentication. Users can create a free Google account using their non-Google email addresses. This Google account will allow users to sign in to all Google apps.
On the sign-in page, if authorized by host, users can also input their email address to receive a magic link to access the web app without any password.
2. What is the Chrome message "Sorry, unable to open the file at this time"?
This issue occurs when user has logged in multiple accounts and is using the Google web app URL directly from Google Sheet which is hosted on "https://script.google.com".
Please share the URL from the link given in the add-on button custom menu > Set up web app, which is hosted on "https://spcsoft.pages.dev", to access your Google web app.
3. Can the Google web app URL be used?
Yes, it is tedious and therefore not recommended.
